Extended Warranty Now Available for Delkor EFB and AGM Batteries
While Idle Stop Start (ISS) technology has significantly increased the demands placed on a vehicle’s battery, consumer expectations regarding battery service life have not changed. This means that battery performance and durability have never been more critical to reliable vehicle operation.
Leading battery manufacturer, Clarios, continues to meet this demand by investing in game changing technology in their Delkor® EFB and AGM range of passenger vehicle batteries. Their patented PowerFrame® technology and other industry leading advancements continue to keep Delkor EFB and AGM passenger vehicle batteries at the forefront of battery quality and reliability.
As the exclusive distributor of Delkor batteries in Australia and New Zealand, R&J Batteries is pleased to announce that the warranty period on EFB and AGM batteries in ISS passenger vehicles is being extended to:
- EFB – from 18 months to 24 months
- AGM – from 18 months to 36 months
This new warranty is applicable immediately and is retrospective on all Delkor EFB and AGM batteries purchased in the applicable periods. The warranty period for both EFB and AGM batteries is non-ISS passenger vehicle applications remains unchanged at 36 months.
This increase in warranty periods is further evidence of the quality of Delkor batteries and the commitment both Clarios and R&J Batteries have in ensuring Delkor batteries provide the best in quality and value for our customers.
It is worth noting that Clarios was named the top automotive battery manufacturer in the 2020 Korean Standard Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI) for the 15th consecutive year. The KS-QEI is Korea’s only comprehensive index of quality satisfaction. The battery manufacturer demonstrated success in both the Usage Quality Index and Emotional Quality Index. The Usage Quality Index takes into account performance, reliability, durability, usability, stability and accessibility. The Emotional Quality Index assesses brand image, brand awareness and novelty.
