REDMAX RMBC1220 Smart Battery Charger
After more than 3 years of research, development and testing, R&J Batteries is proud to introduce the REDMAX RMBC1220 Smart Battery Charger, the flagship product in the REDMAX range. Designed to deliver efficiency, versatility and long term reliability, the RMBC1220 was developed to address a gap in the market for a premium quality, high performance charger at a competitive price.

At the heart of the RMBC1220 is its fanless design and high efficiency switchmode technology. Rather than relying on a cooling fan, which can eventually fail, the charger uses its extruded aluminium case to dissipate heat from the internal components which provides quiet operation while helping maximise durability and longevity. The charger is also IP65 rated, which means it is suited to workshop and garage environments.
The RMBC1220 uses microprocessor controlled multistage charging to intelligently manage the charging process for each battery type. It supports 12V lead acid batteries as well as lithium iron phosphate batteries, with selectable charging currents of 1A, 3A, 7A, 12A or 20A.
It’s seven stage charging process includes BMS Wake Up for Lithium batteries, Initialise & Soft Start, Bulk, Absorb, Analysis, Recondition/Equalise and Float depending on the battery type. The charger also features a Power Supply Mode with adjustable current to help stabilise vehicle system voltage during diagnosis and testing.
